Really Pebble Valley? Really?

You had ALL NIGHT to salt the goddamn parking lots and driveways, as Thomas pointed out to me, so there is NO reason why the parking lot should be completely frozen over to the point that it took me 45 minutes to regain the ground I had lost when I had first attempted to go to work.
My tires spun, furiously screeching, but I was unable to leave the complex and in fact went backwards, sliding down into the lower lots and almost the garages.
It took me the better part of an hour to coax my car back up to the upper lots.
SO unless someone magically decides to stop being a douchebag and actually salts the parking lots so her tennants can, um, GO TO WORK or unless the sun comes out and is all "Hi! I'm going to melt all your ice and let you have a productive day" I am down for the count work wise.

Lame.

And I even left for work at 7:15 AM because my boss wanted me to come in early today.

Double Lame.

I'm going to wait until Quazo wakes up and then I'll try to leave again and if I can't by then... who knows.

Technically any establishment has 24 hours after it snows to do something about it. So they don't have do do anything until around tonight at 6 cuz it would be 24 hours since the rain stopped yesterday.

That was the never ending crap I had to deal with at my apartment and my hill was a lot stepper than your hill.

The thing of it is, the difference between when an establishment *has* to clear snow/ice and when it *should*... it falls under the category of things that define your landlord or apartment manager as either awesome, okay, or asshat. Awesome being observing the weather and making arrangments so that your tenants can leave the complex first thing in the morning, asshat being waiting 24 hours, and okay being somewhere in the middle.

Very true - a good idea when looking at apartments is checking how the snow plowing looks that will tell you what type of landlord you will have at your apartment. Too bad I was looking for apartments back in the day in March when there was no snow! >_< hahaha Just and FYI!

Yeah, I'll have to keep an eye on it next time we go out to Westgrove.

Also, I'm so stoked for Friday it's ridiculous. :-D

I know the feeling.... stupid ice! I had to lug five huge bags of garbage to the dumpsters outside of work... it took me 20 minuets of slipping, crying, and falling on my ass to get it done, last night.
