Long comment! ... sorry. ^^;
When I was ending my Junior year at MIAD, the instructors had us informed about certain classes that would help us work on and finish our Senior Thesis's on time and not go crazy in the process, all during our final year.

I know that this isn't a thesis, but it can be considered within the same boundaries: i.e.: You have a set amount of art to complete before a specific time.

Some of the advice I was given at MIAD is to make out simple sized sketches of each piece and decide from there what they'll eventually look like (also easier to make changes as you go) And work on them all piece by piece, not one at a time or else you'll easily get overwhelmed.

Another thing is to make sure you have enough time for each one, like a few months.
If all else fails, try to cut the amount of pieces down, so instead of making 20+ pictures make only 10 or 13 (that kinda thing. Hell I was planning on making 13 pieces for thesis, but I ran out of time and after revising my work; settled with 9).

I know you're planning on making an entire set of cards, and that's alot of work to get done within four months. It's doable, but also stressful.

My advice is, finish the important ones first (Kings, Queens, Jacks, etc...) and if you run out of time, at least you have them to work with. If you can't make all of the cards in time, at least keep the important ones to sell as suit sets or singular prints.

oh I am unconserned about the time constraint... I know I can get it done.
The Whining was mainly aimed at the fact that no one seems to give a fart about anything original that I draw XD
I mean seriously... Birdo is my most viewed deviation.

Yeah... Original stuff is quickly becoming second to all the fantasies that people want to see in already famous artwork... But I keep on keeping on because when in doubt, I ask myself, "Self? Weren't all these famous art pieces once, in fact, art started by nobodies who BECAME famous later on?"

My dream still lives. *strikes a pose with stars in her eyes*
