Just having a whine fest about the abundance of hate (from at least 5 seperate people on my F-list o_o) I have been hearing for people who read Twilight books.

I mean I'm not saying it's a great work of literature or anything, in fact I'm having a hard time getting through the final book because it's really rather bad. But overall I thought it was on okay couple of books for a teen series.

Look at it this way, the Twilight series is like... watching america's funniest home videos during daytime television. You don't hate it, it's kind of amusing, but if there were something better on you'd watch that instead.

case in point, I have still not finished Breaking Dawn, because I stopped to read the Iron Man book adaptation again to soothe my Tony Stark Addiction. And because I wanted to play WoW... and because I have had generally something better to do.

Anyway... Just Saying...

WoW-ed last night with Thomas, Nick and Dave. Initially we were leveling our Horde on Moonguard but the server went down not long after Thomas logged so we tried Dragonblight Instead and all rolled new Blood Elves.
I wanted to be a Male Blood Elf so that " I too could be a dick to people like me" XD
Moonguard is an RP server and I was taking a lot of crap for running around in Eversong Woods as an Orc Warrior XD it made me bitter and want to inflict douche-baggary upon others. So I chose to be a BElf Hunter for a little while ^__^
I have to say I enjoyed theflirts and Jokes the Male BElf tells "Your eyes glitter like the Sunwell... well how it used to be, you know, before the explosion that doomed us all!"
I also discovered how to cheat when someone takes the name you want. I wanted to name my BElf Lazarus, but that was taken. So, I named him Lazàrus instead XD
Mmmm cheating...

Also Sakurako 2.0 got fired yesterday... more on that later tho, my lunch is over ^_~

I agree with you on Breaking Dawn - it took me over a week to read it...I had to keep setting it down to gain my sanity and then pick it up again to read it. I think it's more like a car accident...it's bad...but you can't keep yourself from looking at it. Of course some people love it...I think it sorta lost all of it's "twilight" feel after book 2.

Yeah, I tend to agree...
Although, shamefully, I will probebly pick up the new one when it comes out still because it's from Edwards point of view...
...and apperrently because I'm Masochistic.

Oh...I'm totally picking up the next book with Edward's point of view - she wrote that before she started going down hill...I think she wrote that right before or right after the 3rd book so it should at least...start well enough. ^__^ So it shouldn't be as terrible as Breaking Dawn...hopefully I won't be eating my words!! ha ha It seems she was just pumping out the books too fast before she could really make it a masterpiece.

Oh no no, I'm not denying it's generally not a very good series. I just have been hearing some comments like "people who read Twilight are stupid" lately and I'm just getting a little "D8" about it.
I'm like "Goddamn it I read Twilight v_v"
Honestly I thought her best book was the one that wasn't in the Twilight series ( The Host) and even that one is a stretch to say it's a good read.

Mmmm, in which Howl expresses his feelings with green slime...

Throw Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy at people it's got more meat than DWJ :D

yeah, I think Stephenie Meyer really did a bad job wrapping up her series. Breaking Dawn was rather ridiculous. You should start reading the Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris. The guy who did Six Feet Under made it into a tv show on HBO. It's called True Blood and it starts Sunday September 7th at 9:00p.m. It's MUCH better than Twilight. It's actually directed towards grown ups like us. lol
